This listing is for 10 pieces of Fujitsu polymer 560uF 4V capacitors.
Sanyo OS-CON is the first one to launch "polymer" capacitors which have the characteristic of very low ESR on the high frequency side thus particularly useful for power filtering of digital circuitry. The technology was eventually developed by other large Japanese manufacturers such as Fujitsu.
According to Fujitsu official information : "As the MPUs used in PCs become ever faster, the trend towards heavier power supply currents has lead to a requirement for capacitors with characteristics that include both large capacitance and high response (low resistance). Similarly, the trend to digital operation, smaller size, and slimmer profile in equipment such as LCD TVs and DVD recorders has made capacitors with small size and high performance (low resistance) characteristics essential as a means to eliminate the generation of high frequency noise. By adopting aluminum foil anodes and high-conductivity functional polymer electrolytes, Fujitsu has released a range of "FPCAP (Functional Polymer Capacitors)" aluminum electrolytic capacitors which offer small-size with low ESR and high reliability."
These are best to be used in low voltage power rail decoupling, in particular in digital audio such as DAC board or audio sound card circuitry. Dimension : 8mm(d) x 12mm(h), lead pitch 4mm. Air shipping worldwide is US$4.50. We welcome combined shipping.
