On auction is one piece of military grade paper oil capacitors. They are new old stock and are rare find items. They were manufactured in the early 80's on a cost-no-object purpose by government-running plants to serve military , and saved by us when the plants dissolved into commercial production lines. Being sealed in metal cans, these paper oil capacitors are very stable in nature and have a super long life-span.

They were packed in waxy paper during manufacturing, and when time passes, the waxy paper changed to yellowish or brownish color and sticked onto the capacitor body as shown in the picture below. Thus the surface may appear to have some brown tints but the function is not affected at all.

They are excellent for interstage coupling in the amplifying circuit, and particularly good to be used to match with digital audio signal source to tame the cold and edgy sound. They can also be used in crossover for speaker network design and crossover capacitor of add-on super-tweeter.
