According to Duelund, these are 5N ( 99.999%) silver cables, with the jacket making of silk, being impregnated in mineral oil and then dried. All processes were done manually. These wires are extremely good to be used for internal wiring, making interconnects, or even speaker cables for high efficiency speakers. The ribbon has a equivalent cross-sectional area as AWG18. 1.0 differentiate from 0.5 that we previously sold that 1.0 hsa double thickness of the jacket. This oil impregnated jacket has anti-static nature and contributes substantially to the smooth silky sound of Duelund cable.
