This transformer also has copper shielding around the coil to further reduce magnetic flux leakage. With a secondary winding voltage of 16V-0-16V and current rating of 1A, this transformer is good for dual voltage supply such as those for opamp audio circuits and shunt regulator supplying DC up to +/- 16V to 17V. The other three 9V 0.6A is good for regulator circuits of +5V or +3.3V in DAC application. Alternatively, two 16V-0 and two 9V-0 can be connected in series to give two 25V-0 AC 0.6A winding for series regulation circuit good to +/- 32V dc and shunt regulation good to +/- 27V dc. The transformer accepts 110V/220VAC input.
