This is a very good sounding amplifier , based on SKA GB150D. The schematic was recently released by the designer, and we were asked by some audiophiles to make the boards. So here are the long awaiting boards. While these are boards of our own, we try to adhere to the original component placement as to make the performance as optimize to original as we can.
To facilitate some diyers, we also launch this limited quantity partial kit. The kit contains the two pairs of output MOSFET and two pairs of input BJT.
The output MOSFETs are N-ch matched and P-ch matched respectively, They are matched at operating Id of 100mA specifically for this amplifier application. The Vgs variance is good to 10mV for N-ch MOSFET and P-ch MOSFET respectively and most of the time less than 7mV variance.
Normally matched pair at Id=100mA also shows matched performance at Id=200mA too so the amplifier can be adjusted for a pretty wide range of quiescent current with these matched pairs.
The input BJT's are Toshiba low noise 2SA970BL(or GR) and 2SC2240BL( or GR). These are now hard-to-find parts and ours are genuine, new old stock transistors as shown in the picture one can see the transistors to have white printing. The NPN and PNP pairs are respectively matched to within 3% current gain.
