We launch this kit as a successor to our very popular kit "2SK170/J74 Cascode NJW0281G/NJW0302G Power Amplifier" kit.
The architecture is with reference to Marantz's flagship power amplifier MS-9S2. The kit offers an unbalanced input rather than balanced input of original design.
The circuit uses diamond buffer as input, following by current mirror I/V to allow for very linear and low distortion performance.
The circuit features current feedback (CFB) rather than conventional voltage feedback thus resulting in a very high speed power amplifier.
The circuit also includes a DC servo circuitry to ensure the offset DC is at minimal ( normally in few mVs only)
This kit contains all the components, EXCEPT the power transistors. This is a stereo kit consists of two boards. Each board can house 2 pairs of output transistors. We have tested the boards with On Semi's NJW0302G NJW0281 with excellent results.
The kit is carefully prepared with high quality components, including Panasonic/Rubycon capacitors, Dale resistors( most of the resistors are Dale as can be seen in the pictures), 5% matched Toshiba low noise and driver transistors, Rifa film capacitors, non-inductive power resistors.
Operating voltage : +/-30V to +/-63V.
