Note on 10 Jan 2015 : We are now delivering the item with the board in GREEN color and panel in black color. This is a low noise low distortion tone control stereo board. The circuit consists of NO active elements and is a CR type of tone control. Application : The tone control board can be inserted between the preamplifier and the power amplifier. It can also be used to put behind the source, if the source has enough driving capability. Alternatively user can put a buffer right after the source for best performance. We have a number of choice for the buffers, such as "JFET input cascoded buffer " ; "Class A matched SE J-FET stereo buffer" ; "Class A tube buffer" etc. Search "buffer in our shop and there are numerous choices.
Control range: +/-6dB for both HF and LF. Insertion Loss : 6dB
