This is the bare PCB of a pure class A buffer amplifier, with reference to B1 buffer. This is a most updated version. The traces are largely rerouted by canceling one of the source selection path and vastly improved signal routing and grounding. In addition, the input potentiometer PCB footprint is now fitted for Alps volume potentiometer.
The design takes minimalist approach, single-ended configuration for warm and musical sound with the output loaded by current source for broadband and high speed performance.
The input and output coupling capacitor footprint is designed such that various size of axial capacitors can be used. This allows user to tweak the sound of the board.
PCB dimension : 190mm x 82mm.
PCB thickness : 1.6mm.
Copper thickness : 75um( four times normal thickness !) ; Gold-plated surface ; double-sided solder resist coating for best reliability.
